Cathy Cobey
With 30 years of experience as a technology risk advisor, Cathy is the EY Global Responsible AI Leader for Assurance. She oversees a global team that evolves the global EY organization’s Responsible AI Framework to respond to new and emerging AI systems, including agentic AI.
A Certified AI Governance Practitioner and Chartered Professional Accountant, Cathy works with global organizations to build trust and confidence in their AI systems. She has spent her career navigating the intersection between technological and societal implications of technology transformation.
Cathy serves on several technical advisory committees to develop industry and regulatory standards for AI. She earned her MAcc from the University of Waterloo.
