Carolyn Clark is the VP of Internal Communications & EX Strategy at Simpplr, a modern intranet platform. A seasoned leader, with deep roots in employee communications and employee experience, Carolyn joined to help Simpplr elevate the employee experience by driving innovation and reimagining how employee communication is delivered in today’s world.

Throughout her career, Clark has intentionally diversified her experience to all facets of communication. From producing broadcast news to consumer and product public relations, media relations and corporate communication. Before joining Simpplr, Clark led internal and HR communication at major tech companies including Yahoo, Oath (Verizon Media), Pandora, GoDaddy, and Opendoor. Clark has led countless transitions, navigated more crises than she can count, and shepherded thousands of employees through complex acquisitions and integrations. She has a passion for navigating difficult situations and an ability to drive employee experience strategy through complicated corporate issues.

Clark lives in North Carolina with her husband and energetic 10-year-old daughter.

Jeremy Woolf, Vice President, Internal Communications, FIRST

Jeremy Woolf leads Internal Communications at FIRST, a Global Brand Experience Agency. With his 20+ years of experience in communications and marketing, he drives strategy for communications, initiatives, change management, alignment of company vision, goals and culture, and employee awareness and experience for 800+ global team members across four business units. He leads the internal communications team to partner closely with FIRST leadership and other stakeholders to drive communications, as well as hybrid and live internal events across the business; he also provides strategic counsel to key leaders, monitoring and reporting on communications methods and channels, and their effectiveness.

Jeremy is drawn to internal communications because of his passion for the nuances of employee communication, drive for continuous improvement, and his love of the employee experience, change management, crisis communications, and new technologies. Prior to his role at FIRST, Jeremy worked at Verizon as a Communications Manager for the New Business Incubation division, focusing on internal and external communications, experiences, and technologies.

Jeremy graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a dual degree in Film & Media Studies and Education, and minor in Art. Originally from Westchester, New York, Jeremy now lives in the greater Boston area. You can find him on LinkedIn here.
