Most companies are comprised of a combination of office and frontline workers. Decision-making tends to focus on those in the office (desk workers, or the desked) with little or no involvement from frontline workers.
However, nearly 80% of the 2.7 billion workers across eight industries – manufacturing, retail, construction, healthcare, transportation, agriculture, hospitality, and education – are frontline workers.
