Jim O’Gorman (he/him) is the Chief People Officer at Included Health where he leads the Talent & Organization Team including HR Operations, Talent Acquisition & Talent Management. He is responsible for all aspects of the company’s people strategy. Along with leading the TAO Team, he also ensures alignment across the Executive Team as the current Chief of Staff.

Jim brings more than 20 years of human resource leadership experience helping companies create award-winning cultures where people can do the best work of their careers. He has a proven track record in combining business acumen, people management, and HR expertise to guide organizations through rapid growth, consumer disruption and transformation.

Prior to joining Included Health, Jim built and scaled teams through a variety of leadership roles at Hulu, Tele Atlas/TomTom and the 2012 Obama-Biden Re-Election Campaign Team. He earned a BA in Communications from Gannon University and an MBA from Northeastern University. Jim lives in Los Angeles with his partner, Alberto.

Karla Grace Stevenson is a seasoned communications leader with nearly three decades of experience shaping internal and executive communication strategies across healthcare, tech, energy, and consumer goods industries. Known for her creative leadership and passion for employee engagement, Karla has built a career rooted in purposeful storytelling, strategic counsel, and culture-driven communication.

Karla currently serves as the Senior Director of Internal Communications at Included Health where she leads initiatives in internal communications, employer branding, and employee engagement. Prior to Included Health, Karla held high-impact leadership roles including Director of Internal and Executive Communications at UC Davis Health and Director of Internal Communications and Public Relations at Adventist Health.

Her earlier roles include senior communications positions at Blue Shield of California, Edelman PR, Nestlé USA, PG&E, and Bare Minerals, where she consistently delivered strategic insight and authentic engagement to drive organizational alignment and employee connection.

Karla holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Davis and pursued graduate studies in Speech Communication at California State University, East Bay. She is an active member of the Cal Aggie Alumni Association and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Eta Gamma Omega Chapter. A Bay Area native, Karla currently resides in Davis, CA with her husband, Scott. Their blended family includes four adult children and a rescue dog named Rainie.

As Chief People & Experience Officer for Simpplr, Miriam gets to work on their belief that when work is good, life is better. Simpplr, a leader in modern intranet software, is fueled by a mission to transform the work experience for billions of people around the world. Miriam gets to apply her three decades of experience in HR consulting, to shape and deliver a great employee experience at Simpplr, through forward-thinking HR and the application of Simpplr’s AI-powered technology.

Miriam also helps innovate Simpplr’s solution for the HR user, leveraging her years of consulting experience supporting organizations to transform their HR service delivery, and adapt to the ever-changing world of work. Miriam has worked across a range of industries, from start-ups to Fortune 100 organizations.

Miriam was previously a partner in EY’s People Advisory practice, and a Senior Leader at Willis Towers Watson. Miriam has a MBA, with an emphasis on Organizational Behavior and HR Strategy, a MSc in Applied Geophysics, and a BSc in Physics and Geology.
