For the fourth consecutive year, Simpplr has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Intranet Packaged Solutions, recognized for our Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision.
Simpplr recognized as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Intranet Packaged Solutions
Gartner’s evaluation this year points to something we care about deeply: our ability to identify emerging buyer and technology trends and turn them into delivered innovation. Anticipating where the workplace is going is only half of it — the other half is shipping something organizations can actually deploy, govern, and put to use.
What we’re building toward is an employee experience that closes the distance between knowing and doing. Trusted knowledge, AI assistance, and employee services should meet employees inside their everyday work. Our platform brings those things together. Building the capability is only part of the job, though. Our customer success model, also recognized by Gartner, helps customers put those capabilities into practice—so employees can find answers, get support, and move work forward.
Simpplr’s leadership position reflects our ability to deliver in four areas that matter to the organizations we serve:
- Anticipating where work is going: Recognizing technology and buyer shifts early, then turning them into innovation we deliver rather than innovation we announce
- AI built into how work happens: Intelligence embedded across the employee experience instead of parked in a separate destination employees have to remember to visit
- Closing the gap between knowing and doing: Moving employees from a question to a completed action without making them navigate the systems in between
- Built for every employee, from HQ to the frontline: Equitable access to the knowledge, services, and communications every employee needs to succeed
To us, this placement on the Gartner Magic Quadrant isn’t just an accolade. It’s motivation to keep redefining what an intranet can do and to keep raising the bar for what our customers should expect from us.
The intranet market is shifting and the vendor landscape hasn’t caught up
AI reset what employees expect from the software they use at work, and it did so faster than most enterprise product cycles can absorb. Buyers who evaluated intranet platforms in 2023 were asking about communications, content, and engagement. Buyers evaluating them in 2026 are asking whether the platform can reason over their knowledge, act on their systems, and do it without creating governance problems for IT.
That shift is part of what makes this buying decision so consequential. An intranet or employee experience platform shapes how an entire workforce finds information, gets help, and does their jobs. The choice has lasting implications, it touches HR, IT, and internal communications at the same time, and it’s success depends on whether employees actually use it.
Prospects who later became customers have told us they consulted the Gartner report as one of the first steps in their process. Among the 16 vendors Gartner evaluated this year, it gave them a way to see the market clearly and narrow a long list to a top list they could take seriously.
Where Simpplr stands in the 2026 report
Gartner’s 2026 evaluation recognized Simpplr as a Leader for both Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. A few things stood out in what they found:
- Trend visibility as a named strength. Gartner points to our ability to align product, marketing, and sales around changing buyer and technology trends, and to identify market patterns early enough to deliver innovation quickly — citing our recent AI advancements in employee communications and governance specifically.
- A comprehensive AI subsystem. The Critical Capabilities evaluation describes AI spanning communications, AI assistants and agents, personalization, and search, rather than concentrated in a single feature.
- A structured customer success model. Gartner highlights an end-to-end customer engagement framework designed to accelerate time-to-value, including standardized delivery, dedicated Customer Success Managers, and embedded telemetry used to monitor adoption.
- Traction where the work is hardest. The Magic Quadrant highlights Simpplr’s depth across manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, and the public sector. Critical industries where bridging communication gaps helps give every employee, from corporate offices to the frontline, access to the information they need.

Why Simpplr is ahead of the rest
Here is what Gartner found, and what sits underneath it.
AI built into how work happens

Gartner describes Simpplr as providing a comprehensive AI subsystem spanning communications, AI assistants and agents, personalization, and search. AI belongs inside the experience employees already use, not parked in a separate destination they have to remember to visit.
Getting there required deciding early which AI shifts would actually change how employees work, rather than waiting for the category to settle. Gartner’s observation about our trend visibility is really an observation about timing: we shipped governance alongside capability, because no enterprise can control an AI feature they can’t standardize on. That choice shows up in four places.
1. Discovery through execution
AI Search delivers permission-aware retrieval. Smart Answers returns cited answers grounded in enterprise knowledge. EX Agent takes an employee from a natural-language request into a governed next step. The path from question to outcome stays inside one experience, which is the difference between an assistant that informs and one that resolves.
2. AI inside business workflows.
Comms AI applies AI across communications planning, creation, and coordination rather than only text generation — Comms Agent builds campaign plans and channel activities, and Writing Assistant works inside authoring rather than alongside it. Survey Summary and message summaries help teams synthesize feedback and long threads. None of this is a separate AI product. It is AI where the work already happens.
3. AI that maintains the knowledge it depends on.
Content moderation, duplicate-content detection, and broken-link agents help administrators keep enterprise information accurate. This is the unglamorous part of enterprise AI, and it is also what determines whether answers can still be trusted six months after launch. An AI assistant is only as reliable as the knowledge underneath it.
4. Governance and control for IT.
AI Control Center gives IT centralized management over supported AI features and LLM provider settings. Agent Studio configures sources, intents, follow-up logic, and action boundaries for the employee-facing agent. These are the controls that answer the governance question from earlier — not with a policy document, but with administrative settings someone owns.
Enterprise AI creates value when it understands employee context, surfaces knowledge people can trust, fits naturally into everyday work, and helps employees act on it. It is more effective when employees do not have to go looking for it.
How Simpplr scored across Gartner’s 11 critical capabilities
Gartner’s companion Critical Capabilities report scores each vendor across the 11 capabilities that define this market. Simpplr scored 4.0 or higher in four of them, with our strongest individual rating in Frontline Support:
| Critical capability | Simpplr score |
|---|---|
| Frontline Support | 4.4 |
| AI Assistants, Agents and Services | 4.2 |
| Personalization and Employee Insights | 4.1 |
| AI Orchestration and Automation | 4.0 |
Two things stand out to us in these results. AI leadership shows up in the ratings with the two AI capabilities score 4.2 and 4.0. Our highest score is in Frontline Support, reflecting a priority at the heart of our platform: giving frontline employees, who have been historically served last, the same access to information, support, and opportunities to stay connected as their office-based colleagues.
Closing the gap between knowing and doing

The 2026 evaluation recognizes strength across Knowledge Services, Employee & Workplace Services, Work Management, and Resource Portal use cases. Gartner also calls App Tiles a core product strength, describing them as role-specific mini-apps that consolidate operational systems and centralize actionable tasks such as scheduling, training, and service requests.
Employees should not need to know which system owns a process, where information lives, or which application comes next.
Every one of those handoffs is work lost to navigating software instead of doing the job. A better employee experience hides that complexity and shortens the path from question to outcome.
Built for every employee, from HQ to the frontline

Gartner describes Simpplr as delivering a capable mobile-first intranet experience for deskless workers, mitigating adoption barriers through shared-device support, one-time passwords, and granular access controls. The Magic Quadrant separately identifies our depth across manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, and the public sector, among organizations using Simpplr to bridge communication silos between corporate knowledge workers and deskless employees. And as the table above shows, Frontline Support is our strongest individual capability score.
Innovation that translates into customer value
The business value of an employee experience platform has little to do with how many features it contains. It is realized when an organization can actually deploy it, when employees adopt it, and when it changes how work gets done. That is the harder half of this business, and it is the half Gartner also assessed.
Gartner highlights our structured, end-to-end customer engagement framework, designed to accelerate time-to-value. Their evaluation cites standardized delivery, structured deployment, dedicated Customer Success Managers, and embedded telemetry used to monitor adoption, mitigate churn, and track joint metrics with customers.
Here is what that framework looks like in practice:
Repeatable implementation: Playbooks, governance templates, launch checklists, role-based training, migration guidance, and phased rollout planning help customers move from scope to launch without the custom-build overhead this category is known for.
Success plans and adoption reviews: Customer Success Managers align with customers on goals and outcomes, then use maturity assessments, executive business reviews, roadmap reviews, and adoption planning to keep the program moving after launch.
Usage evidence, not assumptions: Adoption dashboards track usage across communications, search, mobile, AI, integrations, workflows, recognition, and surveys — so when adoption lags in one area, it triggers focused enablement instead of a guess.
Support that escalates: Customers have access to training, office hours, community resources, and 24×7 technical support, with critical risks escalated across Support, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Services, and executive sponsors as needed.
Customers often tell us Simpplr feels less like a vendor and more like a partner. That is the outcome we are optimizing for, and it’s why we measure ourselves on adoption rather than on deployment.

Simpplr is built for what comes next — four years running
Four consecutive Leader placements by Gartner span a period in which this category changed substantially. Growing alongside that shift, rather than being overtaken by it, is what we are proudest of in this recognition.
The thing we work hardest to get right is also the thing that is easiest to get wrong. Simpplr brings together AI, connected systems, personalization, search, and workflow capabilities — enormous complexity, deliberately hidden. It is built for enterprise complexity and consciously designed for employee simplicity. An employee should never have to understand any of the architecture behind the answer they just got.
Being recognized by Gartner is an honor. What drives us is more specific than that: our mission is to make work simpler, more engaging, and more rewarding. We believe that when work is good, life is better — and we are committed to making that real for every organization we serve.
As AI continues to reshape what employees expect, we will keep building for where work is going next. Want to see why organizations chose Simpplr? Request a demo today.
