Carolyn Clark

Vice President, Employee Experience Strategy & Transformation, Simpplr

Carolyn Clark is the Vice President of Employee Experience Strategy & Transformation of Simpplr, an employee experience platform. A seasoned leader, with deep roots in employee communications and employee experience, Carolyn joined to help Simpplr elevate the employee experience by driving innovation and reimagining how employee communication is delivered in today’s world.

Throughout her career, Clark has intentionally diversified her experience to all facets of communication. From producing broadcast news to consumer and product public relations, media relations and corporate communication. Before joining Simpplr, Clark led internal and HR communication at major tech companies including Yahoo, Oath (Verizon Media), Pandora, GoDaddy, and Opendoor. Clark has led countless transitions, navigated more crises than she can count, and shepherded thousands of employees through complex acquisitions and integrations. She has a passion for navigating difficult situations and an ability to drive employee experience strategy through complicated corporate issues.

Clark lives in North Carolina with her husband and energetic 8-year-old daughter.

Rose Kilsdonk

VP Communications, Community First Credit Union

Rose Kilsdonk is an innovative builder, curious learner, and exceptional explorer. Her superpower is “envisioning things that don’t exist yet and blueprinting that vision so others are excited about the journey.” This trait has been beneficial as she’s launched award-winning intranets, websites, and microsites for financial, educational, B2B, & B2C organizations.

Rose’s career path has been full of adventures. From starting as a graphic artist to customer service, regional, national, and new business sales, to operations, marketing, and communications – decades of experiencing diverse roles and industry fueled her passion for making work meaningful. Inside and outside of work, she’s found her jam by connecting with people and helping them see their next. As a board member for Women in Technology – Wisconsin, she actively mentors young women and champions that every role ‘owns technology,’ even communication geeks.

In November of 2021, Rose was challenged to create a new internet experience for Community First Credit Union. Simpplr quickly stood out as the best partner/platform for their needs. WayFinder, a new employee experience, was born in April 2022. Recently Community First entered WayFinder into their industry’s award competition. It won – not only a CUNA Diamond Award but also achieved the Category’s Best status. Community First Credit Union is a member-owned financial cooperative with over $5.2 billion in assets and 25 full-service branches. CFCU’s 600+ employees deliver financial, investment, and insurance services to 154,000 member-owners throughout Northeastern Wisconsin.

Gilles is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience in the SaaS industry. He has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by internal communication departments, and has worked with organizations across the US and Europe to develop and implement effective communication solutions. As the COO of Comeen, Gilles focuses on the last mile of corporate communication, delivering valuable messages to employees via digital signage. Gilles is passionate about using technology to improve communication and collaboration. He is a strong advocate for employee engagement, and believes that effective communication is essential for any successful organization.
