Root: Internal Communications Strategies that Strengthen Organizations During Rapid Growth

Root is the nation’s first licensed insurance carrier powered entirely by mobile. They were founded on the principle that auto insurance rates should be based primarily on driving behaviors, not demographics. Using mobile technology and data science, Root offers personalized, fair rates to good drivers all through an easy-to-use app.

With a rapidly growing workforce over the past two years, Root was at an inflection point and made the critical decision to invest in their internal communications tools and resources. An intranet was quickly identified as the most critical tool to keep their team members focused on doing their best work.

Join Emily Inglis, Sr. Director of People Growth, and Gretchen Geyer, Growth Systems Analyst, as they share how they launched their first intranet to build a strong community of employees during rapid growth. Get insight on strategies that help engage and inform employees using Simpplr in their digital workplace.

In this webinar, you’ll learn how Root:

  • Launched an intranet during rapid growth
  • Developed an intranet content strategy to streamline communication across their growing workforce
  • Aligned communication strategy across departments to connect and engage employees
